What else should I consider?
Direct Deposit
Direct deposit is any regularly scheduled payment – like salary, retirement and pension payments, interest payments, Social Security, SSI and government payments – that can be electronically deposited automatically into your checking, savings,
or money market account. After these funds are deposited, you can distribute money among your savings and loan accounts. To get started: Request forms from your employer, government agency or other agencies that currently
issue you a check. You can also complete our Direct Deposit enrollment form, and submit it to your employer or other non-governmental agency along with a voided check from your Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union account.
Automatic Transfers
This type of transfer gives you the convenience of moving money around to various accounts on a set schedule. Set up automatic transfers to any account through online or mobile banking.
- Safe. No risk of stolen checks or forgeries. Helps protect against identity theft.
- Easy and reliable. Funds are automatically deposited directly into your account on your scheduled pay dates. No need to deposit in person.
- Fast. Withdraw funds to use immediately the same day they’re automatically deposited.
Personal Line of Credit with Overdraft Protection
Continually access funds up to your credit limit, without ever re-applying. This product also offers the benefit of overdraft protection on your checking account. You never have to worry about the hassles of overdrawn funds in your checking account again.
To use your funds, simply write a check or transfer funds to your checking account.
Courtesy Pay
Avoid the expense and embarrassment of an overdraft from your checking account with our Courtesy Pay service. Unlike a Personal Line of Credit, Courtesy Pay provides Members in good standing the ability to overdraw their personal checking account
up to their Courtesy Pay limit.* Courtesy Pay covers checks, ACH, ATM and in-personal withdrawals, debit card transactions and even Bill Pay transactions. Simply pay a $30 fee for each drafted item and repay the advanced funds within 30 days.
Courtesy Pay is a privilege extended to qualified Members 60 days after opening a checking account. If you choose to not use any of our overdraft protection services, your transaction could be denied due to insufficient funds. To learn more and
add this protection to your account, contact a Member Service Representative today!
