It’s widely accepted that children spend in much the same manner as their parents, even into adulthood. That means that you have a great opportunity to teach your children about smart spending and — just as important — smart saving with our KidCents accounts.
KidCents was created for our younger members (12 years and under). Children will receive a basic savings account to watch their savings grow. This account also gives children access to Banzai Jr. that uses real-world situations—like paying unexpected expenses, finding creative ways to earn money, and setting savings goals—to teach young children about managing their own money.
TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT:
Parents or guardians, simply visit any one of our branches and provide:
- Two forms of ID (Drivers license, School ID or Birth certificate)
- A Social Security Number card
- $50 to establish their
membership
