Member Education - KidsNational Credit Union Youth Week

Every year since 2002 credit unions all over the country have set aside one
week in April to encourage young people to use money wisely. That week
is known as National Credit Union Youth Week. This year it runs from April
18 to April 24
.

Any young person under the age of 19 who makes a deposit to his or her
PGCFCU savings account during National Credit Union Youth Week will be
entered in the National Youth Savings Challenge drawing. Ten young savers
from credit unions nationwide will each win $100.

Good luck to one and all!

Lessons in saving are best learned early. They can come in the form of that first piggy bank, that quarter from the Tooth Fairy or that first dollar of allowance money. The credit union is here to help young savers make the most of their money and have fun at the same time.

All children under 12 are eligible for our Looney Tunes Savings Club youth accounts as long as their parents or guardians are credit union members. They can watch their savings grow online through home banking or come into any branch to make deposits and even receive special treats.

Googolplex - Credit Union Guide for Student Money MakersKids also get free access to Googolplex, which is the place to go for games, quizzes, contests and more that are all about spending and saving. It’s just for kids and just for credit union members!
