Participants can earn $500 AND improve their credit score by enrolling in this program specifically for District 8 Residents.


This program is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Increase your knowledge.
  • Increase your credit score.
  • Increase your bank account.

How it works:


  • Participants make a $5 membership deposit to join Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union (PGCFCU).
  • Participants make monthly deposits of $44 for one year.
  • At the end of the year, following on-time monthly deposits, participants will see return of their deposits ($500) and a reward match of an additional $500.
  • On average, participants may see a credit score rise of 20-67 points following completion of the program.

To Participate:


  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must live within the impact area
